DR. G.SUNDHAR KRISHNAN

  Dr.G. Sundhar Krishnan is not just a name , but an inspiration for most otorhinolaryngologists across globe. With the dedication to his work which he worships, he has risen the horizons of ENT to a whole new level. He has pioneered in the field of endoscopic surgeries, through which he has conquered beyond the confinement of just ear, nose and throat. He has been conferred with Ph.D in  “ Endoscopic skull Base Surgery “ by prestigious M.G.R University in 2007. He has also been giving his time and untiring efforts in teaching and training ENT aspirants for over 25 years, who over the years have also marveled in the field carrying the same passion as their teacher. He has conducted  6 live surgical workshops organized by Krishna Eye and Ent Hospitals and has also been guest faculty for several live demonstrations and conferences. He has published and presented several papers in national and international level.

For a person who breathes and sleeps ENT, he has a unique skill to feel for his patients and their concern which has helped him to triumph over the restrictions of the conventional methods of disease management. His aim is to tackle any disease that of the head and neck that can be surgically intervened by endoscopic technique to make it as minimally invasive as possible for his patients , quick recuperation at affordable cost with alleviation of suffering for elite as well as people without an address on par

He has been doing over 750 pituitary surgeries and more than 1000 C.S.F rhinorrhea (brain fluid) repair among many other challenging surgeries endoscopically for over 2 decades along with the largest series of endoscopic ear surgeries. His laurels are plenty and inexhaustible and has been hence worshipped as the ‘Father of Endoscopic Surgery’. The day he got the endoscope in his hands patient’s head and neck became his habitat
